a lil disagreement On Saturday morning, my parents and i were getting ready to go to town. We need to do some more shopping!! ^^ Well the night before that, i asked Lily if she wanted me to return a purchase for her since i might stop by the store. My dad said i was stupid for doing stuff for people as i came back from getting the stuff from lily's house in the morning. He also said that i do things for people like a servant. I was so upset that he said that to me. People dont ask me to do things for them like a servant! I`m the one who's asking if i can do it for them! It's called doing favors! Cant my dad understand? They are not using me.. I know what to do, and when people is taking advantage of of me.. (well, maybe not really..) But... it was just returning something. It's not that big of a deal... And when i told my mom, she agreed with my dad. I was like, "What!?" I told her what i thought.. It's was just a little favor of returning something in a store that we might go in. My mom even asked, "What if we dont go into that store?" It doesnt matter.. If we dont go in the store, then that's okay. I dont return it. Gosh!! So that pissed me off for the whole day. a nice talk with my dad... yesterday, i talked with my mom about my future career choices. i told her that i might consider being a computer engineer or something. and she kinda laughed at me :T saying that i probably cant do that work with that sort of job. (shrugs) hey, i want to do something with computers....definitely. everyone (well, most of the people i know down here) wants to go into the medical field. I know that they just want to go into the medical fields for the job title and money. i`m not interested in that; going into the medical field and all. Then, my dad came in asking what we were talking about, and my mom told him about my plan to be a computer engineer. :P Hmm...i dont really remember what we talked about though..hehe. We got onto the subject about my future plans, what he did when he was in school, his choices, his mom about how she wanted him to be a doctor and he didnt want to be one, scholorshops, and then me being stupid and that anyone can get straight A's nowadays. Then, we got on the subject of my math skills...weird. We talked about algebra problems/equations for like 30 minutes. This was like...my first long conversation with my dad. We ended the conversation on how me and my dad might go to Vietnam one day (when i`m in my 2nd year of college or so) to visit my half-sister. But i was like, "No..i cant! I'll be going to London with Lily!!!!" LOL.. seriously..my friends and I plan to save A LOT of money up for our trip to London, Paris (kittine's choice), Tokyo, and Seoul Korea!!! my first Thanksgiving... today was my first thanksgiving feast. no...seriously! i never had a thanksgiving dinner with my family before. we just never had one. but this year, my friends (LiLy and Lina) and i decided to have our own little thanksgiving. we cooked it, ate it, and cleaned all by ourselves! (: i`m so proud!! so i consider it my first thanksgiving since eating at someone else's place doesnt count. hehe... i gotta give props to Lina. She made most of the food. Good too. We made so much food, but only three of us is eating. Everyone else left, or didnt wanna come join us. Oh, welps. More leftovers for us... #;

She doesnt love them equally.. Today, I just found out the reason why my uncle came down. My mom told me that he got into an argument with my grandma back at home. The argument was about my baby cousin, Lyla, that just came down to stay with grandma. My grandmother told my aunt that Lyla was a stupid name. She was like, "Why'd you name her Lyla. That's an ugly name." yadda..yadda..yadda. She said it in a mean way on purpose. She was freakin dissing my baby cousin, Lyla! Is it because she has her precious Jasmine, which is the youngest in the family?? Jasmine is my other baby cousin, which her mother is my youngest aunt. Well, she does watches Jasmine everyday. They have a close bond, but dont go dissing your other grandchildren. She shouldve loved them equally. They're both her grandchildren! And so, my uncle over heard and said, "Mom, she has the right to name her own daughter and name her whatever she liked. You shouldn't say that." Uh..something along those lines. Okay..my grandma is weird ya'll. Read my older entries and you'll kinda know why. Well, she got mad at my uncle saying that he's trying to lecture his own mother! And, she even kicked him out of the house! That's insane. She definitely likes my youngest cousin more than Lyla....way more than Lyla. And Lyla's mom cried and changed her mind about leaving Lyla here with my grandma. My grandma was supposed to babysit Lyla for a month or so, since my aunt was busy with work. So Lyla's gonna go back instead of staying here.. ); I didnt even get to see her yet. Who's gonna watch her now? I would, but I have school..dangit!! Saturday, November 22, 2003

Shopping. The right way... you know us cheap people gotta save money.. as i said before, i went shopping today along with two other friends, lina and lily, which i forgot to mention. well, we went to old Navy, spent a whole hour there, and bought a lot of clothes under $25 (excluding Lily, who spent $60). Mang..Lina's smart. She gonna go to the kids section and shop for cheaper clothes..hehe. and managed to find some that fit! well, she is petite.. and she went to the boys on sale section and bought 2 shirts that were $1.89 each! 2 bucks!! thats so cheap! too bad i didnt get to buy cheaper kids clothes. ): i only bought a gray slack ($19.99) and a shirt ($4.99) ON SALE!!! yea!! me and lina got the same $4.99 shirt ON SALE!!! u can tell i`m cheap..huh? #;
Holiday Shopping whoo... one word... SHOPPING! i went Holiday Shopping today. not much. Just two pants and a shirt. Hey...i wasnt supposed to buy clothing in the first place. i only came to the mall to buy a long dress. well, i bought a red dress that trails...i like. (: and lily spent like an hour in Old Navy..hehee. hey, at least she bought a lot that was worth her time. if she took a long ass time in the store, but didnt buy anything, i wouldve been mad...(nods) hmm..we spent a total of five hours in the mall. when i was looking for my dress, i found this nice red dress (the one i end up buying). but, stupid me..i had to go to see if there was any other place that might have better dresses. we went to JC Penny..didnt find any cute dresses--they hardy had any. and decided that i should buy that red one i saw first. well, i went back to find that (gasps) it wasnt there anymore. we tried looking for it in case someone misplaced it, but actually someone bought it! that was so quick. i just walked out to another store and came back. well, i ate in between our walk to the other store. but...but. i ended up buying the same dress, but the torn one. my mom has to sew the string to the dress. eheh.. well, thats all for today. my friend's parents almost died today in class, my friend asked if i heard the news about her parents. i said "no.. what happened?" so she told me that her parents went mulleting (fishing) on Tuesday (it was windy that day too), and something happened that tossed them off the boat into the water. and her mother cant swim well, so her father tried to swim out to rescue his wife. while tryin to grab her out of the water, he believed that she wouldnt make it and she might die anyways. so, he told her that he must let go and have one parent die instead of two for the kids. he doesnt want their children to lose both parents, so he decided that it would be better if one survived. (that part touched me the most..) when he surfaced, he yelled, advising (sp?) her to take her clothes and boots off since this will lighten the weight of pushing down. He then thought that she really died and tried to swim to the nearest shallow area. But, her mother managed to surface from the water and found the boat. she then drove the boat to find her husband. if she arrived later than that, he couldve died. i think that it was very lucky for her parents to make it. they were so close to dying. i couldve wrote this in more detail; however, it is kind of hard to explain thoroughly. rude and nosy people today, my friend (Christine) came in class telling me that Ponyda (a girl that lives down my lane) asked her about my ACT scores. Christine told her that i made a 20, and that Ponyda acted like it was nothing..no big deal..whatever. i was so mad, and i couldnt believe that Christine told Ponyda my scores. I feel that it was rude of Ponyda to ask Christine instead of me. If she wanted to know, why not come up to me and ask instead of asking others. What if i didnt want to tell her.. see my point people.. She's really nosy, and if she made a better score than me, i know that she will rub it in my face. (her scores didnt come in yet) i dont give a f*** about who made higher and who's better. i`m satified with mine. Even yesterday, she asked Lily online to know what i made! good thing that Lily was like, "Why dont u go ask her?" and Ponyda responded, "Gosh..chick (argh! i hate when she says 'chick') it's not that big of a deal!" It is to me when she goes around asking others. she's violating my privacy! Like Lily said, "It's like asking for your Social Security number." LOL!!! (25cents for a mice!!!!) today after school when we were walking home, ponyda then asks me what i made on the ACT! "I thought Christine told u already.." I started telling her that she was rude for not asking me first. hehe... She even made an excuse saying that she didnt get to see me in the hall!!! She freakin sees me after school! famous in other countries okie,, i was surfin on the internet for wallpapers of Thai celebs, and i came across this girl i recognized from a lakorn (tv-series) that i watched the other week called "Krong Petch" ...translated as "Diamond Mansion" i think. anyways, i found out that the girl's name was Taya Rogers. wait..she has an American last name. she's probably mixed, i thought, and researched to find more about her. then, i came across her official site http://www.tayarogers.com. come on..her official website! i was like..whut!? cool... and she actually posts and chats there with her fans on the forums. anyways, she is mixed. half thai and american. no wonder...she's so pretty! (^;^) and i kept wonderin to myself that wow...she's freakin acting and modeling in Thailand yet she lives here in the U.S. wow.. she's famous in both countries. well..i guess only to the people who knows her or either watches her movies. that's pretty cool, but how did she started acting in Thailand in the first place?? i have no clue. hmm..gotta go ask her someday. This is kinda similar with the korean group called FlytotheSky. Brian Joo is actually from the U.S. too, but how did he became famous in Korea with this other Korean guy, Fany (aww...my Fany!!) i wonder how they met up and sang together, but it's all good b/c FlytotheSky turned out really good!!
