#; the day of the ACT testing
yea..on Saturday i took the ACT. it was so HARD!!! well, the science part especially. i didnt even have enough time to finish some parts. okie..there was only 35 minutes for the reading part!! i had like 2 columns blank...hehe. i probably did bad. yea..LiLy, like i`m gonna make a 36!! HA!! my arse!! LOL
no es possible!! i`m not that intelligent. if only i couldve studied for it. i was so not prepared. that morning, christine was supposed to come over early so we could study, but NO! she gonna come an hour later, when its 30 minutes till the testing time! then, we rushed to the Delta (store) to get some breakfast, but all they had were buttermilk biscuits. oh darn..no food. oh well, at least we had something to eat that was okie..
today, i got out early from school. u know why?? REPORT CARDS!!!! oh no. BLIMEY..lol. i hope i make all A's.. (crosses fingers) i`d be so disappointed if the new spanish teacher (sra. acevedo) gave me a freakin B. mang, if my old teacher was still here, i wouldve done better in spanish class. too bad he left us here... ): now we're stuck with this puerto rican lady who cant speak english. argh!! omigod!! the ACT test is Saturday! i`m not prepared for it dammit!! it's too early to take it! but i have no choice but to take b/c its the only closest place there is... (whines) hmph!!
(sighs) welps, nuthin really happened this week. well, last week i took my exams. i think i did bad on my chemistry exam. actually, i did do bad on the exam! this monday, he showed us what we made on the exam, and i made a 75 on one and a 78 on the other chapter. ooh!! but i made an A on the report card... strange... (0.o)? hey! oh well!! i got an A!!!! whoo hoo...(throws confetti)
OH!!! my neighbors are actually GONE!!! they left!! whoo hoo...(celebrating) er? what is this girl celebrating about?? well, if u have no clue what i am talkin about, read my entry "Scary Neighbors." then, u`ll understand why i`m so hyped out b/c they left back to where they came from. oh... so sorry! i havent written in my blog for a while. been studying for my exams. well since i`m a bit free and i want to take a break frm studying, imma write what happened recently....
didnt i say before that i`m kinda scared of my neighbors?? on saturday, my friend (LiLy) called at 9:00 p.m. to ask if she can get her straightner back, since it was at my house. so i was walkin across the lane and i seen that they had their door wide open. i think they were lookin outside too! when i walked back home, i seen that one guy was leaning on the doorframe outside. mang!!!!! i started runnin like forest gump!! LOL u shouldve seen me! i looked so ridiculous.. and then, that guy whistled at me..as if to beckon me to come over... i was like....."eeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!" still runnin! reached the door to my house and slammed it shut! i locked all the locks too!!! yea...i jus changed the layout.. i really like it. i love those eyes... so hypnotic yet gorgeous eyes..hehe. but, for the header image, i might go back and edit it around over the weekend. i jus didnt feel like doing it today. okie,.enough said about my new layout. imma talk about how my day went. well today the junior and senior classes get to go to another school (Belle Chase High) for career/college day. We got the opportunity to look around where they set up booths from a variety of colleges and universities and get some info. I really like it. it was pretty helpful b/c im totally clueless about college. hehe...seriously! i dont even know what im gonna major in! But i know for sure that i wanna do somethin with computers or possibly...business. i'll jus have to do a lil research on college/universities and career majors later...hehe. well...enough of me yappin about how my day went. imma go finish readin my manga, MARS! whoo..almost finished. and NO... i cant find my other manga, Paradise Kiss!! its really lost..dammit! i blame u kittine!!!! #; argh!! i had 4 tests today!!!
isnt it so stressful to have 4 tests in one day! one test after another...(sighs)
i had Algebra, Chemistry, Spanish, and American Histoy tests today. they werent that hard, but i jus dont like having a bunch of tests all on one day. i cant study for all of them..! Algebra wasnt that hard b/c it was on matrices; Chemistry was on conversion factors; Spanish was on verb (its what u do..!)tenses; and American History was jus plain...hard. if only i had more time to study for American History. I knew nothing! I almost left my questions blank! But, i managed to write something.. HA!! But luckily, my teacher let the class finish the test tomorrow for 5 minutes! that'll give me time to rewrite my answers..hehe..(laughs evilly). HELL YEA!! good thing b/c i checked my answers at home, and whoo... i had them all wrong...! oops! gotta go change my answers.. well, we were supposed to take the American History test on Thursday! but NO!!! the freakin people wont shut their mouths in class, so the teacher got so mad, he jus gave up teaching us for that day and said we have a test today instead... #; okie...enuff flashbacks
okie..imma stop writing about the past for tonight. think about the future...or present. dont waste time thinking about the past. and i jus wasted like whut...the whole day! hehe...
hmm..on Friday, it was our homecoming day. so we had early dismissal in school, and i had to go to town (Gretna=45 minutes away from my little town called Buras) for my orthodontics appointment. I came back in time for the parade and all.. This girl (Donna) in middle school went up close to one of the trucks b/c she knew the kids on it...i guess, and she got her foot ran over from the trailer. Luckily, the tire was flat, or it would have broken her ankle. At first, i thought that she jus tripped. i didnt know that she really got ran over until LiLy told me. I think she's okie now.. Poor Donna..aww..
anyways, after the parade was finished, my friend hanged out at my house. we kept comin in and out of the house b/c there were a lot of people/kids (lol) hangin outside across from my house. and when i came back in, my grandma (yes..again..my grandma!) yelled at me to not go outside. "The guys over there keep lookin at ya! Stop going outside! Dont walk out there to show them your body!" I was like whoa..this is gettin out of hand! i know..what she said sounded weird. it IS weird!! I told her, "Dont look at them! stop thinkin about those people and what theyre doin! Just ignore them! And why am i goin around showin my body to them?!" My neighbors peek out the window a lot. eeeh..(shivers) i dont even wanna talk about them! eeeh (shivers) but omigod! my khmer friend (Lina) was there too, and she heard what my grandma said. Ahh..that was so embarassing...hehhe. I asked Lina, "You heard what she said!?" LOL. it was funny... shes thinks about weird things.

okie..another flashback! i really need to write things down when it happens so i wont forget. this entry is gonna be a long ass one! hehee...
{ 9-30-03, Tuesday } .. I came home from school and seen that the jar of shrimp (asians should noe what it is.. its puh-ock pakea in khmer. its kinda hard to write it in english..heh) that my mom was making is leaking. My grandma didnt check on it. And i found that the water hose was also leakin. The connector or w/e broke so the water was spraying hard. so I went over to see take a look at it, and the spraying water had made a huge hole in the ground! Yes..it sprayed that hard! I was like "Oh..NO. Shit." i told my grandma that she didnt check the jars, and its leakin really bad so it smells. i was also in a rush to go to the bank and then pick my brother up from school, so i left instantly. i came back and turned the water off after i watered the leaking jar. As i came inside, my grandmother said that she already watered it and that why am i watering it again. i didnt even notice b/c the puddle of water looked like the leak. oh well...so then i told her not to use the water hose b/c i turned it off. She started bitchin at me saying that my mother told her to water the garden. But the water hose is broken...hello? dont water the plants then! i was gettin aggravated again. I cant take it anymore! she bitches at me about little things. Its my house! I know what i should do and dont! Jus dont water the freakin plants for a while..damn. i guess i sounded mean b/c of my tone of voice. i didnt curse at her or anythin okie..hehe. i was jus pissed off from the other things that happened, and it was really hot. so yea..we got into an argument b/c of that little thing. i picked up the phone to call my parents, and she was yellin, "go call grandpa to come bring me home if u hate me! i noe ure distgusted by me!" I was shocked to hear that. "WHAT!?" i never said shit! did i ever told her that i hated her? How come she's thinkin that!? goddamn! and she then said, "go ahead and tattle-tell on me! tell ure parents bad things about me!" OMIGOD! i cant believe this! i jus called my parents to ask for their permission if my friends can spend the night so we can work on our school project. i said something else to her, but i forgot what it was. i cant stand it anymore, so i talked back. usually i dont talk back..i jus keep my mouth shut and ignore it. but i couldnt this time. ive had enough..she misunderstood me. and my dad was laughin at me over the telephone. he thought that it was ridiculous of me to argue over a little thing with an old lady here.... (sighs) i give up.. cant write anymore. i forgot what really happened. i seriously have a memory problem..i cant remember anything. Things happen too fast. whoo..i havent posted entries for whut..2-3 weeks now? hehe..oops well, things did happen, so imma flashback to the past... gee..how pathetic! i hafta look back at the calendar to see when things happened..
{ 9-21-03, Sunday } .. My parents came home from work that day, and said that we're going to Alabama to pick up my grandma. They wanted her to come to watch our house and babysit my little brother, which means that she'll be watchin me too... (by the way, my parents are comercial fishermen and they shrimp for a living, so when they go working/shrimping, they dont come back till the next week or 4-5 days later.) Anyways, since my parents work at night for this shrimping season, my dad was tired and couldnt drive. My mom agreed to drive for him instead and i was gonna take turns with my mom to drive. So i drove from my house to Gretna which is about 45 minutes away, and i was gonna stop somewhere to let my mom drive from then on to Alabama. I was about to reach a place to stop, but my dad told me to keep driving. I was like "no way! i cant drive in New Orleans! Mom..help." LOL. my dad actually let me continue driving..in NEW ORLEANS!! aahhh! i`m still an amateur driver! so i went up that accelerating ramp thingy to get on them..well u noe whut i mean! and i couldnt yield! the oncoming cars were so fast and i coudnt go. argh! i hate yielding when there arent any stoplights b/c i cant do it! but i managed to yield somehow..and almost touched another car that i didnt see from the side! after that was okie..until..i had to take the exit into Slidell. OMIGOD! i still cant yield! and this time them cars were honkin at me! i guess i was slow to yield or somethin. yeesh! people these days cant be patient! i ended up driving all the way to Biloxi! ha ha..i gave up after driving for two hours..mang! uhh..i dont feel like driving anymore.. too feeble...
